Schemes are offered by the government in order to give the people a better mode of living and a healthy life. The Sikkim government has also without fail provided good number of schemes for its people to benefit from.Janani Surakshya Yojana Scheme (JSYS):
In order to promote institutional deliveries instead of home deliveries, the Janani Surakshya Yojana Scheme has been introduced. The introduction of this scheme has been seen to be highly beneficial for a lot of women have given birth to children in hospitals. In the year 2011, a total of 1909 beneficiaries have been seen out of the total 5000 estimated beneficiaries.Janani Sishu Surakshya Karyakaram Scheme (JSSK):
This scheme has been implemented in Sikkim since the year 2011 in order to eliminate expenses of pregnant women before as well as after delivery. The scheme orientation has been completed with active association from departments of Women and Child development, NGO, ASHA and AWW.Hospitals in Sikkim
